Tamaki x Haruhi fanfic!!!
Tamaki looked over at Haruhi from across the table. She had fallen asleep. They had been forced to stay after school to clean the cafeteria because of a food fight the Host Club had started.
Kyoya, Honey, Mori, and the twins were just walking out the doors as the clock chimed for five o'clock.
Bye Tama-chan! Honey said as he rode on Mori's shoulders out the door. Tamaki put away the mop quietly, in fear of waking Haruhi. He walked over to her and sat down in the closest chair. She snored softly with her face buried in her arms as she leaned on the gray-brown table.
Haruhi. He whispered with a smile. His smile disappeared quickly. How can I make you love me? He tousled her hair and she mumbled something. He sighed softly. You should probably be going home soon. Your dad will be getting worried. He titled her chair back and she fell into his open arms. He held her bridal style and her head leaned into his shoulder. She smiled, obviously dreaming. He gazed at her face. She seemed so sweet when she was asleep.
He started walking out the door, still carrying her in his arms. He started the short walk to her apartment, the sun still shining. Summer was coming up soon and he wouldn't see her as much.
He heard a cell phone ring and Haruhi's eyes shot open. She reached into her pocket and quickly answered her phone. She blinked as she realized Tamaki was holding her. He set her on her feet.
Uh. . . hello? She said to her phone.
Where have you been?! Tamaki heard her father yell into the phone.
At school. She replied calmly. I had to take care of a mess. I'm on my way now.
Alright. Bye bye! Her father hung up and she put her phone back in her pocket.
Tamaki? She asked accusingly. Why were you carrying me?
You were so cute when you were asleep. He grinned.
I wasn't asleep. She stated.
He froze. Then why were you snoring?
I was deeply thinking! She blushed. I just mumbled! Besides, I heard what you said at school.
What?! Tamaki yelled as he turned red. Wait, if you were awake, why did you let me carry you?
Haruhi blushed deeper. I don't know!
He grabbed her shoulders. You heard what I said? And you let me carry you? And you're okay with that? He normal childish attitude was replaced with a serious tone.
Kinda. I have to get home. She brushed past him, her face turning even darker. She ran down the sidewalk and he started to run after her.
Haruhi, wait! He called as he grabbed her hand. Are you sure you heard what I said at school? She tried to pull away but he held on to her. Answer me.
I did hear you. She whispered.
I don't love you. I only like you as a friend. His hand slipped off her wrist and she continued back to her house.
Where is Tamaki? Hikaru asked as the first customers started to come in. Haruhi, do you know?
She shook her head.
He won't answer his phone. Kyoya said as he returned his phone to his pocket.
'Is this because of yesterday?' Haruhi asked herself. Kyoya, do you have Tamaki's address?
He looked at her and gave her a pen. She took the lid off and held the pen over her hand. He told her quickly and she threw the pen to him as she ran out the door.
She glanced at her hand a few times as she ran down the sidewalk in her 'kitty' theme for the Host Club today. 'What am I doing?' She asked herself. 'I don't love him, do I?' She ran up to his gate and pushed the intercom button. I am Fujioka Haruhi. I need to see Sou Tamaki.
An old woman's voice sounded. He has told me much about you, miss Fujioka. Tamaki is up in his room. She said as the gates swung open.
Haruhi raced through the stone path, careful not to ruin anything. She burst through the door, an saw the old woman. She pointed upstairs. Tamaki's room is the fourth on on the left.
She nodded and sprinted up the stairs. 'Why am I going so fast? Surely he's alright. Why am I even at his house? He will eventually come to school, won't he?' She knocked on his door, and waited.
He eventually opened the door and he looked down, and his smile appeared slightly as he hugged her. You nutball! He joked. What are you doing here?
You didn't show up for school, stupid. She laughed.
He looked confused. It's spring break.
She poked his forehead. Spring break starts next week Tamaki. She giggled.
Oh no! He said as he slammed the door. Haruhi took a step back to avoid being hit, and heard Tamaki quickly changing his clothes.
He threw open the door and grabbed her arm. Let's go!
She smiled as they began the run to Ouran Academy.
Six minutes later, they staggered through the doors to the third music room.
Tama-chan! Honey said as he hugged Tamaki. Where were you?
He thought it was spring break. Haruhi sighed, breathless.
Oh well. Tamaki smiled. Let's get to work! Several young ladies are lonely!
As the last girl left, Haruhi came to sit by Tamaki next to the window.
Haruhi, why did you run to my house? He asked after a couple silent minutes.
The question caught her off guard. You weren't at school, and Hikaru got worried so I went to go see if you were alright. She blushed a little.
Tamaki looked away to see the other Host Club members walk out the door, leaving them alone. Is that the only reason?
She looked at him. I think, I might like you as more of a friend. She looked at her feet as she kicked them back and forth.
She closed her eyes, afraid of his answer. She felt him lift her chin up, and she opened her eyes.
Haruhi, you may not be able to admit it, but I love you. He pressed his lips to hers.
At first, she couldn't move, then when Tamaki pulled away, she took a deep breath.
He stood up and started walking away. She ran after him and hugged him. Tamaki, I do love you! He turned to her and grabbed her shoulders. She kissed him. He hugged her tighter.
She pulled away, and he smiled. He took her hand and they walked out the doors together,
